Comments on: “We stop existing and start living.” http://emlocke.com/emlocke/?p=984 Sun, 15 Aug 2010 01:05:41 +0000 hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.0 By: Nelly http://emlocke.com/emlocke/?p=984&cpage=1#comment-15136 Nelly Tue, 14 Jul 2009 12:10:49 +0000 http://emlocke.com/emlocke/?p=984#comment-15136 Hi, i searched for the quote "stop existing and start living" and for Micheal, and i found you.. and i'm so glad that i ended up like this, beause you have so much truth in your writing.. and i'm glad, because i think i can tell my story about MJ for someone, who can really appreciate it.. well.. so bad that i did not know him until two and half weeks ago.. i only heard about him, but i did not know.. i didn’t know how old he was, he was always here only.. i did not believe to the media, to the bad news/things, i never hated him, i did not understand him only.. his skin colour, his face, and i did not know about his music too.. i was born in 90', so in his greater decades i did not have chance or interest to know about him.. the only song what i was able to name from him was the Thriller, but i was not able to recall his melody.. the media has to handle always his scandals only, so i was really not interested.. and, unfortunately now that he is gone, i started to search for the truth from him.. now i know about his diseases, and that how bad and tragic life he has.. not only that what kind of man he was, but that how great, one of the greatest in this world he was.. what amazing songs he has.. i heard some of his songs in the past, but unfortunately i did not know that they are his.. and now, i think i feel that he slowly become really "someone" to me, and i slowly become his true admirer, one of his true fans.. i never felt this sadness for nobody before, who was not my family, nor my close relative.. "this is it".. anyway, the Black or White is one of my fav songs from Michael too :D along with the Screm, They Don't Care About Us, Stranger In Moscow, etc.. and sorry for my english, i'm from Hungary, and never learnt it.. only from myself, through the net.. Maybe it feels a little safer now than it did in the early 90's to add the qualifiers about how talented and groundbreaking he was. I have such mixed feelings regarding Michael. I think he was a very strange and messed up man, but a musical genius. But like you, I think the horrible way he was pushed into the spotlight was probably what did him in, up until the very end. I hope he is resting in peace.
